Our Strength

Induction Furnace

Being an extremely environmentally conscious manufacturing unit, we operate an induction melting furnace. With this we can not only keep a check on the pollution, but also maintain close tolerances in the required metallurgical properties of the melt. This ensures that the castings obtained, strictly adhere to the required physical and metallurgical properties. A high capacity transformer takes care of all the ensuing electrical needs. A 33 kV electric line ensures non-stop powers even on Mondays (weekly power off day).

Moulding Machines

To ensure the very best quality of moulds and a rapid production of the same, we operate two simultaneous jolt-squeeze pneumatic molding machines. Each machine is loaded with the match plated patterns of the casting (one taking care of the cope and the other the drag). A high capacity air compressor ensures continuous operation of the moulding machines which are operated with timer control to ensure weight variation within 2% of nominal weight.

Sand Plant and Core Making

One of the most important steps in obtaining superior quality castings is ensuring stringent quality of moulding sand. This is taken care of by an automatic sand mixing and conditioning plant. Electrically operated and shell core ovens take care of the core requirements for the most intricate of castings.

The sand plant consists of a knock out machine, sand siever, sand cooler, intensive mixer, bucket elevator and a magnetic separator. The sand plant is complete with mould tracks, trolleys and moulding boxes of 22”x24” (550mmx600mm).

Material Handling System

Material Handling System

A number of electric and pneumatic hoists of different load capacities take care of movement of empty and filled moulds efficiently. The motion of moulds filled with the melt is over an array of tracks with trolleys. The molten metal is transferred from the furnace to the moulding boxes a monorail track line system. A 500 kg treatment ladle is available to produce quality S.G. iron as well.
